Raj Tarun is set to entertain audiences with his upcoming film Tortoise, an intense action thriller directed by Rithwik Kumar. Amrutha Chowdary, Avasarala Srinivas and Dhanya Balakrishna play key roles in the movie.
Produced by Vijay Chowdary, Shashidhar Nalla and Ramisetty Rambabu under SK Golden Arts, Prashwitha Entertainment and NVL Creations, the film combines suspense, drama, action and emotion. Manasa Kumar and Santhosh Immadi are the co-producers.
After creating interest with its first-look poster, the makers recently held a grand event in Hyderabad to launch the film’s latest song “Nee Parichayam.” The soulful track has been composed by Anup Rubens, with lyrics by Chandrabose and vocals by Chinmayi.
Speaking at the event, Chandrabose described the song as one filled with love, longing and affection. The producers also expressed confidence that the emotional number will connect strongly with audiences.
Avasarala Srinivas revealed that he is playing a substantial role in the film and praised the performances of Raj Tarun and newcomer Amrutha Chowdary. Dhanya Balakrishna said the movie is an edge-of-the-seat thriller and added that the team is now beginning its promotions in full swing.
Amrutha Chowdary shared her experience of shooting the song in Ravulapalem and recalled the warmth shown by the local people. She also praised Chinmayi’s voice and Anup Rubens’ composition.
Music director Anup Rubens said the combination of Raj Tarun, Amrutha, Avasarala Srinivas and Dhanya works very well in the story. He also praised Amrutha’s performance, stating that she delivered confidently despite this being her first film.
Director Rithwik Kumar revealed some interesting details about the movie. According to him, Tortoise blends a strong love element with an exciting thriller narrative. Raj Tarun’s character is said to be one of the major highlights of the film.
The director further revealed that the movie has five major twists, with a significant twist arriving roughly every 25 minutes. He claimed that the twists are designed to keep audiences guessing until the end.
Rithwik compared the film’s emotional backdrop to movies like Bommarillu and Majili, but said that the treatment in Tortoise turns those emotions into a thriller experience. He also revealed that the film has three songs, with the team planning to release the hero’s character song next.
Raj Tarun said Tortoise is a unique thriller that will keep audiences engaged in theatres. He praised Anup Rubens for the melody, Chandrabose for the lyrics and Chinmayi for her beautiful rendition.
The actor also showered praise on Amrutha Chowdary, predicting that she will become a busy heroine soon. He expressed confidence that audiences will enjoy the film when it arrives in theatres.
