Dulquer Salmaan is back with an interesting Telugu film, and the teaser of Aakasamlo Oka Tara offers a glimpse into an emotional story about ambition, love and determination. Directed by Pavan Sadineni, the film focuses on a young woman who dreams of becoming an astronaut despite facing several obstacles in her life.
The teaser introduces Kalpana, played by newcomer Satvika Veeravalli. She is a talented student with big dreams, but her ambitions clash with the traditional mindset of the people around her. Even as she faces restrictions and pressure to follow a conventional path, Kalpana remains determined to achieve her goal of reaching space.
Dulquer Salmaan plays Krishna, who enters Kalpana’s life and becomes her biggest source of support. Unlike those who question her ambitions, Krishna encourages her to believe in herself and work towards making her dream a reality. Their relationship appears to form the emotional backbone of the film.
The teaser balances emotional moments with an inspiring message about giving women the freedom to choose their own future. Satvika Veeravalli makes her debut as the female lead, while Shruti Haasan, Murali Sharma and Swasika are also part of the cast.
Dulquer’s presence adds further interest to the project, especially among Telugu audiences who have appreciated his performances in films such as Sita Ramam and Lucky Baskhar. The film also marks his collaboration with director Pavan Sadineni.
GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music, while Sujith Sarang handles cinematography and Praveen KL takes care of the editing. The film is produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam, with Geetha Arts, Swapna Cinemas and Lightbox Media associated with the project.
Aakasamlo Oka Tara is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 20, 2026. With its promising concept and an emotional story at its centre, the film aims to offer audiences more than just a conventional love drama.
The teaser has set the stage for an interesting cinematic journey, and it remains to be seen how effectively the film brings Kalpana’s dream of reaching the stars to life on the big screen.
