Star heroine Samantha is leaving no stone unturned in promoting her upcoming film Maa Inti Bangaaram. As part of the promotional activities for the Tamil version, Engal Thangam, the actress recently visited Chennai. The film is directed by Nandini Reddy and has generated considerable buzz among audiences.
During her Chennai visit, Samantha had a special meeting with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay and later shared a heartwarming picture with him on social media. Along with the photo, she posted an emotional note praising Vijay’s inspiring journey from cinema to politics.

Samantha wrote, “I’ve always felt that Vijay sir was destined for more than just being a hero on screen. His energy, charisma, and the connection he shares with people always made it seem like he was meant for a bigger purpose. What inspires me the most is the courage to step into a completely new field, leaving behind something you have already mastered. Taking on a challenge with much higher stakes, not because it is easy, but because you genuinely believe you can make a difference.”
Samantha and Vijay have been one of the most loved on-screen pairs in Tamil cinema. The duo delivered several blockbuster hits together, including Kaththi, Theri, and Mersal. Among them, their chemistry in Atlee’s Theri received immense appreciation from audiences and remains a fan favorite even today.
