Akhil Akkineni’s much-awaited film Lenin has officially been postponed, confirming the recent buzz surrounding its release date. Initially slated to hit theaters on June 26, the film will now arrive on July 10, 2026.
Announcing the update on social media Nagarjuna revealed that the makers decided to push the release to ensure audiences get the best possible theatrical experience. The team is taking additional time to fine-tune the film rather than rushing the final product, aiming to deliver a memorable cinematic outing.

Nagarjuna also reiterated that Lenin will showcase Akhil in a completely new avatar, raising expectations among fans.Directed by Murali Kishore Abburu, who previously helmed Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha, the film stars Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead. Veteran actor Shivaji and Saranya Pradeep play key roles in the movie.
Lenin is being jointly produced by Naga Vamsi and Nagarjuna under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Annapurna Studios. The film’s music is composed by Thaman, adding further excitement to the project.
