Story
The story is set in the fictional Andhra Pradesh village of Kuberapuram, where a gold mining company owned by Brahmayya (Benarji) operates under the supervision of his daughter Renu (Shalini Kondepudi). Into this setting arrives Pratap (Ayaan), a new business partner who soon encounters Gowri (Ahilya Bamroo), a determined young woman campaigning against the mining activities that threaten the village’s environment.
Gowri is especially devoted to protecting the village’s last surviving tree, which she considers sacred. However, when the tree is ultimately cut down, she is left heartbroken and seeks divine intervention from Kubera, the village deity. Soon after, a mysterious incident triggers a chain of bizarre and unexplained events throughout Kuberapuram.
As panic spreads, the villagers become convinced that they are suffering from a divine curse. What causes these strange occurrences, and how the residents confront the unexpected crisis, forms the crux of Sing-Geetham.
Artists Performance
