The countdown has officially begun for SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited magnum opus Varanasi, which has become one of the most anticipated films among movie lovers. The film is progressing at a rapid pace and is gearing up for a grand worldwide release on April 7, 2027.
The makers recently announced the countdown by sharing a special update that read, “250 days to APRIL 7th. #Varanasi”. The announcement created excitement among fans, with many predicting that the film has the potential to create new box office records.
Starring Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles, the film also features Prithviraj Sukumaran in a key role. The music for Varanasi is composed by MM Keeravani, while the story has been penned by Vijayendra Prasad.
Expectations around Varanasi are sky-high as it marks Rajamouli’s first directorial venture after the global phenomenon RRR and also marks his first collaboration with Mahesh Babu. Produced by KL Narayana under the Durga Arts banner, the film is expected to be a visual spectacle.
