In a recent interview, filmmaker Buchi Babu Sana revealed that the climax of Peddi contains a shocking twist. He said that designing such a climax for a star hero like Ram Charan was a risky decision, as it carries intense emotional weight and could strongly impact the audience.
Buchi Babu Sana further explained that the emotional stretch leading into the climax is the soul of Peddi. He said, “From that segment, it is difficult to forget Peddi gadu. That makes the character even more memorable. We connect with him, we cry when he cries, and we will feel the high when he wins and rises. The 45-minute journey leading up to the climax is the film’s heart.”
At the same time, Buchi clarified that despite the strong emotions, the film will remain rooted in a commercial format while still feeling natural and organic. His comments have increased curiosity about what exactly he has planned for the climax and whether the trailer will hint at the emotional payoff.
The film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead, while music is composed by A. R. Rahman.
