Following the success of the Odela franchise, Sampath Nandi Team Works is set to present another village-rooted film titled Shanarthi – A Tale of Culture. The project was officially announced today with the title and first look unveiled.
Akhil Raj Uddemari, who recently scored success with Raju Weds Rambai, will play the lead role. The film also marks the second Telugu outing for Naga Durga as the female lead.
Directed by Uppunooti Raj Ganesh and produced by KV Sridhar Reddy, Shanarthi is said to be deeply rooted in rural culture and traditions. The makers believe the film’s unique story and strong cultural backdrop will strike a chord with audiences.
Suresh Bobbili is composing the music, while further details about the cast, crew and storyline are expected to be revealed soon.
