Ranabaali Trailer Review

The much-awaited trailer of Ranabaali is finally out, and it gives a strong glimpse into Vijay Deverakonda’s intense character. The film, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, is set against a period backdrop and revolves around a rebellion born out of the struggles faced by ordinary people.

Vijay plays Singanamala Bobbili Ranabaali, a fearless rebel from the Anantapur region. The trailer introduces a world where the British rule has pushed people into severe hardship, with food shortages and exploitation becoming part of their daily lives.

What catches attention is Vijay’s transformation for the role. His rugged appearance, Rayalaseema slang and aggressive screen presence give the character a strong local flavour. The action scenes are also packed with intensity, suggesting that the film will have plenty of high-energy moments.

Rashmika Mandanna appears as Jayamma, bringing an emotional angle to the story. Her character seems closely connected to Ranabaali’s journey, while the trailer hints at several personal and political conflicts that could shape the narrative.

Rahul Sankrityan appears to have gone for a serious and grounded approach rather than making the story feel like a routine period drama. The visuals, production design and action sequences add to the scale of the film.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and presented by T-Series, Ranabaali is scheduled to release in theatres on October 16, 2026. The trailer has certainly created curiosity around Vijay Deverakonda’s new avatar, and audiences will now be waiting to see how the full story unfolds on the big screen.
