The theatrical trailer of the Telugu socio-fantasy comedy Ramba Oorvasi Menaka (ROM), starring Allari Naresh and directed by Chandra Mohan Chintada, was officially launched by King Nagarjuna on August 24, 2026. The film is set to hit theatres worldwide on September 4, 2026. Produced jointly by Annapurna Studios and Hasya Movies, the film features music by Chaitan Bharadwaj.
The story follows Suri, played by Allari Naresh, who brings three celestial apsaras—Ramba, Urvasi, and Menaka—down to Earth from Indra Lokam. Things take a hilarious turn when Lord Indra, portrayed by Vennela Kishore, strips the three apsaras of their divine powers, leaving them stranded at Suri’s house and triggering a series of chaotic and comic situations.
The trailer showcases Suri’s obsession with bringing the apsaras to Earth, believing that their presence will help fulfil his wishes and completely change his fortunes. However, instead of solving his problems, their arrival creates even more complications, leading to misunderstandings, differences between the lead characters, and plenty of disturbances within his family.
The glimpse and teaser had already generated decent expectations, and the trailer further boosts the film’s appeal, particularly among comedy lovers. Allari Naresh appears to be back in his familiar comedy zone, with his impeccable comic timing, hilarious expressions, and quirky antics standing out. His imitation of director Boyapati Srinu and the references to OG dialogues add an additional dose of fun.
Rashi Singh, Vishnupriya, and Prisha Singh fit well into their roles as the celestial beauties, while Surabhi plays the female lead. The production values backed by Razesh Danda and Prasad Nimmakayala look impressive, with the VFX work complementing the film’s socio-fantasy setting.
