The much-awaited sports action drama Peddi, starring Ram Charan, has successfully completed its censor formalities well ahead of release. The Central Board of Film Certification has granted the film a U/A certificate, allowing it to be watched by audiences of all age groups, with parental guidance recommended for children below 13 years.
At a time when several recent big-budget films encountered last-minute censor complications, the makers of Peddi ensured a smooth path by wrapping up the certification process nearly two weeks before release. The film is all set for a grand theatrical release on June 4, while special paid premieres are planned for the evening of June 3 in selected locations.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. The ensemble cast also includes Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, Boman Irani, and Upendra Limaye in pivotal roles. Music for the film is being composed by A. R. Rahman.
