The theatrical trailer of the upcoming biggie Peddi, headlined by Ram Charan, was unveiled at a grand event in Mumbai, and it has lived up to the massive expectations.
Set against the backdrop of Vizianagaram, Peddi tells the story of a small-time worker at a jaggery factory who is deeply passionate about cricket. Unexpected circumstances force him to take up wrestling as well, a sport he is unfamiliar with, eventually turning him into a crossover athlete.
Director Buchi Babu Sana appears to have pulled off a winner, as the trailer not only showcases the massy side of the protagonist but also highlights the emotional depth in the story. The world of Peddi, the visuals, the characters, and the fiery moments are neatly packed into this promotional asset, leaving a terrific impact.
Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead, while Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, and Boman Irani essay key roles.
Peddi also marks the maiden production venture of Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas. The big-ticket entertainer is slated for a grand worldwide release on June 4, 2026, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
