Man of Masses Jr NTR and director Prashanth Neel have finally dropped the much-awaited glimpse of their ambitious action entertainer, officially titled Dragon, and it has exceeded the sky-high expectations.
Interestingly, the makers surprised fans by releasing the promotional asset ahead of the announced launch time, instantly creating a frenzy across social media platforms.

Unlike the usual fast-cut teasers, Neel went with an extensive four-minute glimpse to properly establish the film’s dense world and multiple characters. The story appears to be rooted in the British era in India, revolving around the highly profitable opium trade. According to the glimpse, the British allegedly left behind an underground empire connected to opium production, eventually giving rise to two powerful factions — the Afghan Trading Company and the Golden Trading Company.

The film’s core conflict revolves around the brutal war between these syndicates for dominance over the global opium business. Jr NTR plays Lugen, the feared Assassin-in-Chief of the Afghan Trading Company, and his intense screen presence stands out throughout the glimpse.
From the grand visuals and rich production design to the razor-sharp editing and impactful dialogue delivery, every frame reflects Prashanth Neel’s trademark mass-action storytelling style. The glimpse also hints at a layered narrative packed with power struggles, violence, and emotionally driven characters.

The film features an impressive ensemble cast including Rukmini Vasanth, Anil Kapoor, Biju Menon, Khushbu Sundar, Guru Somasundaram, Rajeev Kanakala, and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles. Music is composed by Ravi Basrur.
Dragon is slated for a grand theatrical release on June 11, 2027.
