A new update has now surfaced regarding Jana Nayagan, which marks Vijay’s final film before stepping fully into politics. The project has encountered several issues in recent months, including censor-related complications and the online leak of important visuals from the movie.
As per the latest buzz, the makers have submitted a revised version of the film for certification in Singapore, and it has reportedly been cleared with an NC16 rating. Interestingly, the updated cut is said to be shorter by one minute, with the runtime reduced from 183 minutes to 182 minutes.
This latest development has once again fueled speculation about the film’s theatrical release. Industry reports indicate that the team is planning to release the movie before the end of June, though an official confirmation is yet to be made.
Fans are now eagerly awaiting clarity on the release date along with the next promotional update from the makers. Pooja Hegde plays the female lead in this much-anticipated project.
