Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara Faces Another Delay

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s much-awaited Vishwambhara has been facing delays for quite some time, with the makers reportedly taking extra time to enhance the film’s visual effects. The initial teaser received a mixed-to-negative response, prompting the team to rework the VFX and improve the overall visual presentation.

For a while, the film was expected to arrive during Dussehra 2026. However, the latest buzz suggests that Vishwambhara may not release this year after all. Even on Chiranjeevi’s birthday, the makers limited the update to a poster and an OST, without announcing any release date.

According to the latest reports, the Vassishta directorial may now target Summer 2027. The postponement also appears logical, considering Chiranjeevi’s other project Kaaka is reportedly aiming for a Sankranthi 2027 release.

The CGI and VFX work is said to be taking considerably longer than expected, resulting in the delay. While the team is focused on delivering a visually grand fantasy action drama, fans are increasingly concerned that a prolonged delay could affect the film’s buzz.

It remains to be seen when Vishwambhara will finally arrive on the big screen and whether the makers can live up to the massive expectations surrounding the project.
