Akhil Akkineni bounced back in style with Lenin after the disappointing performance of Agent. The rural action entertainer struck a chord with audiences, emerged as the biggest blockbuster of Akhil’s career, and marked a strong comeback for the young actor at the box office.
After wrapping up its successful theatrical run, Lenin is now gearing up for its digital premiere. The film will begin streaming on ZEE5 from August 7, giving audiences another opportunity to experience the blockbuster from the comfort of their homes. Given its theatrical success, the movie is expected to attract impressive viewership on OTT as well.
Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, Lenin is set against the rugged backdrop of Rayalaseema and features Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead. The supporting cast includes Shivaji, Pramod Panju, Eeswari Rao, Sunil, Ramki, and Brahmaji in pivotal roles.
The film was jointly produced by Naga Vamsi and Nagarjuna under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Annapurna Studios’ Manam Enterprises, while Thaman composed the film’s energetic soundtrack.
