Mega hero Varun Tej is gearing up to entertain audiences with Korean Kanakaraju, a horror-comedy directed by Merlapaka Gandhi. Featuring Ritika Nayak as the leading lady, the film is scheduled for a grand theatrical release on August 7, 2026. The makers have now unveiled the teaser, offering a glimpse into the film’s quirky and entertaining world.
The teaser introduces Kanakaraju, played by Varun Tej, as a carefree youngster from Penukonda in the Rayalaseema region. Known for his love of alcohol and frequent petty brawls, his life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters a mysterious Korean-speaking girl. Soon after, Kanakaraju becomes possessed by the spirit of a Korean man, leading to a series of hilarious and bizarre situations. The teaser ends on an intriguing note, revealing Varun Tej in the avatar of a gangster in Korea, hinting at an exciting twist in the narrative.
