Story
Korean Kanakaraju tells the story of Kanakaraju (Varun Tej), the head of a traditional folk troupe from Penukonda in Rayalaseema. His life takes a romantic turn when he falls for Chaitra (Ritika Nayak), an employee at the Kia plant who is deeply fascinated by Korean culture and K-pop.
Just as Kanakaraju begins to get closer to Chaitra, an unexpected twist changes everything. A mysterious Korean spirit possesses him, throwing his life into turmoil and leading to a series of hilarious as well as supernatural incidents.
Who is the spirit, and what is the mystery behind its past? Why does it choose Kanakaraju as its vessel? How do Kanakaraju, Chaitra, and his close friend Kisttappa tackle the bizarre situation and attempt to free him from the spirit’s influence? The rest of the film unravels these mysteries in an entertaining blend of horror, comedy, and romance.
