The upcoming sci-fi thriller Killer is steadily generating excitement with its intriguing concept and visually ambitious presentation. The film stars Jyothi Poorvaj and Poorvaaj in the lead roles, while Manish Gilada, Chandrakanth Kollu, Vishal Raj, Archana Ananth, and Gautham Chakradhar Koppishetti play key supporting characters.
Produced by Poorvaaj and A. Padmanabha Reddy under the Think Cinema and AU & I Studios banners with the blessings of Dhyanam Nannagaru, the film is presented by Urvish Poorvaj and directed by Poorvaaj. With post-production, including extensive VFX work, now fully completed, the makers are preparing for the film’s theatrical release.
Marking actress Jyothi Poorvaj’s birthday, the team unveiled a striking new poster from the film. The actress is introduced as the enigmatic “Super She,” sporting a powerful and electrifying look that instantly stands out. Her intense makeover has reminded many of Angelina Jolie’s iconic appearance in Maleficent, raising curiosity about her character. The makers are confident that Jyothi’s performance will be one of the film’s biggest highlights.
Director Poorvaaj is aiming to build a unique cinematic universe with Killer. Besides helming the project, he also plays a scientist involved in the mysterious CNA Integration and ROY Protocol, concepts that are expected to play a crucial role in the film’s narrative.
Sharing an update on the film, Director Poorvaaj revealed that the entire post-production process has been wrapped up successfully. He explained that the film required a considerable amount of high-quality VFX, which resulted in a longer production timeline. However, all visual effects are now complete, and the team has shifted its focus to distribution and release plans.
He further revealed that several leading distributors and buyers have already watched the film and appreciated its final output. According to him, business negotiations are progressing positively, and the team will soon complete the remaining formalities, including censor before announcing the film grand theatrical release date.
