According to the latest buzz in trade circles, the film has reportedly completed its censor formalities and received an ‘A’ certificate. However, the makers are yet to officially confirm the certification.
The update has generated fresh excitement among Vijay’s fans, especially since Jana Nayagan is widely expected to be the actor’s final film before he shifts his complete focus to politics.
Meanwhile, industry insiders suggest that a key meeting with distributors is scheduled for early next week. The discussions are expected to revolve around the film’s release strategy, including the finalization of its theatrical release date.
At present, July 23 and July 30 are said to be the frontrunners for the release. Although an official announcement is still pending, trade analysts expect clarity on the release date shortly after the distributors’ meeting.
