Superstar Rajinikanth will next be seen in the much-awaited sequel Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film has already generated massive hype among fans and trade circles following the blockbuster success of the first installment.
According to the latest industry buzz, the makers are planning to release the film on either September 10 or September 11, 2026, although an official confirmation is still awaited. Reports suggest the release window was chosen to capitalize on the festive holiday season while allowing the team extra time for post-production work.
The movie shooting reportedly wrapped up filming in April 2026 and is currently in the post-production phase.
