DC, the upcoming gangster action drama, marks acclaimed filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj’s debut as a lead actor. Directed by Arun Matheswaran, who previously delivered Captain Miller, the film stars Wamiqa Gabbi as the female lead.
The makers have officially announced that DC will release in theatres on July 31. Along with the announcement, they unveiled a striking new poster featuring the film’s principal characters, building anticipation ahead of its release.
The recently released theatrical trailer showcased a gritty, violence-packed action entertainer set in a dark underworld, hinting at an intense cinematic experience.
As revealed by the makers, the story primarily revolves around the characters Devadas and Chandra, which forms the basis of the title DC. The film is produced by Sun Pictures, with Anirudh Ravichander composing the soundtrack. Arun Ranjan has contributed the additional screenplay.
