Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya’s upcoming romantic drama Chennai Love Story is all set to hit theatres on July 24, 2026. Directed by Ravi Namburii with music composed by Mani Sharma, the film has been creating decent buzz, and the makers have now released its official trailer.
The trailer introduces Stephen, played by Kiran Abbavaram, an aspiring filmmaker determined to make a name for himself. Unlike many Telugu directors who head to Hyderabad, Stephen chooses Chennai, believing the Tamil film industry is the perfect place to bring his emotional stories to life.
During his journey, he meets a software professional, portrayed by Sri Gouri Priya, whose carefree lifestyle and drinking habits initially surprise him. As they spend more time together, Stephen tries to change her outlook, and the two gradually develop a deep bond. However, their love story takes a heartbreaking turn when unforeseen circumstances test their relationship. Differences in their personalities and Stephen’s inability to accept her independent nature lead to emotional conflicts.
The trailer hints at an intense romantic drama packed with love, heartbreak, and emotional moments.
