Netflix’s first-ever Telugu original web series, Super Subbu, is all set to make its digital debut. Ever since the release of its fun-filled teaser, the comedy-drama has generated considerable curiosity among viewers, who have been eagerly awaiting an official streaming date.
Putting an end to the anticipation, Netflix has officially announced that Super Subbu will premiere on July 2, 2026. Expanding its reach beyond Telugu audiences, the series will also be available in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam from the day of release.
Speculation about the launch date gained momentum recently after the show appeared in Netflix’s “Coming Soon” section. The latest announcement has now confirmed both the release date and the platform’s plans to introduce the series to a wider audience across multiple languages.
Produced by Rajiv Chilaka and Bharath Laxmipati under the Chilaka Productions banner, Super Subbu features Sundeep Kishan and Mithila Palkar in the lead roles. The series also boasts a talented supporting cast, including Murali Sharma, Brahmanandam, Sampoornesh Babu, Hyper Aadi, Getup Srinu, and Manasa Chaudhary, who play pivotal characters.
With a promising cast and a light-hearted entertainment quotient, Super Subbu is gearing up to entertain audiences across India when it premieres on Netflix this 2nd July
