Mythri Movie Makers’ upcoming film Irumudi, starring Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and directed by Shiva Nirvana, is generating strong buzz among movie lovers. The recently released teaser glimpse received an overwhelmingly positive response from both fans and critics, raising expectations for the project.
The makers have now officially thanked the audience for the tremendous support and announced that the film will hit the big screens on August 21, 2026, in Telugu and Tamil. Interestingly, the Tamil version will be released under the title Irumudikattu.
The release date has sparked discussions as Nani’s much-awaited pan-Indian film The Paradise is also slated to arrive on the same day. However, industry reports suggest that The Paradise could be postponed once again, which may help both films avoid a direct box-office clash.
Apart from Ravi Teja, the film stars Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead, while Baby Nakshatra plays a key role as Ravi Teja’s daughter. The music for the film is being composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
