Vijay Deverakonda’s much-awaited period action drama Ranabaali, directed by Rahul Sankrityan of Taxiwaala fame, is progressing steadily towards its release. Set against the backdrop of British rule in India between 1854 and 1878, the film is inspired by historical events from the 19th century and promises a grand cinematic experience.
Rashmika Mandanna stars as the female lead opposite Vijay Deverakonda, while the prestigious project is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers and presented by T-Series.
The latest update from the makers reveals that Ranabaali has successfully wrapped up its 100-day shooting schedule. A recent week-long schedule was completed in the scenic location of Gandikota, where key emotional sequences featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna were filmed. With nearly 90 percent of the shoot now completed, the team is reportedly delighted with the film’s output.
Earlier, the makers unveiled a special birthday glimpse of Vijay Deverakonda, showcasing intense action episodes and spectacular horse-riding sequences. The glimpse received an overwhelming response from audiences and significantly boosted expectations for the film.
With production nearing completion and post-production work set to begin soon, Ranabaali remains on course for its grand theatrical release on September 11.
