Actor Dhanush is gearing up to entertain audiences with his latest film Kara, a rural action thriller directed by Vignesh Raja, best known for the critically acclaimed Por Thozhil. The movie features Mamitha Baiju as the female lead.
After its theatrical release on April 30, 2026, the film has now finalized its digital debut. Streaming giant Netflix has officially announced that Kara will premiere on May 28, 2026. Currently, only the Tamil version has been confirmed, though other language versions are expected to arrive soon.
The supporting cast includes veteran actors K. S. Ravikumar and Jayaram in important roles. The film is produced by Ishari K. Ganesh under the banner of Vels Film International in collaboration with Think Studios. Music for the film has been composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar.
