Purushaha Movie Review & Rating

Movie Description

Battula Saraswathi is presenting, while Battula Koteshwar Rao is producing the wholesome family entertainer Purushaha under the Kalyan Productions banner. The film marks the debut of Pavan Kalyan Battula as a lead actor, with direction by Veeru Vulavala. The cast includes Pavan Kalyan, Saptagiri, Kasireddy Rajkumar, Raayancha Kokkura, Vishika, and Hasini Sudheer in key roles. The film is set for grand release today. Let’s see how it is.

Story

Purushaha follows the lives of four childhood friends Banda (Pavan Kalyan), Kiss (Vennela Kishore), Jump (Rajkumar Kasireddy), and Boggu (Sapthagiri). While Kiss is still single, the other three are married and struggling with controlling wives who neither respect nor trust them.

The friends reunite for Kiss’s wedding, but things take an unexpected turn when their wives uncover some shocking truths about their husbands. What follows forms the core of the film, blending comedy, marital chaos, misunderstandings, and emotional moments.

Artists Performance

Pavan Kalyan Battula is a promising new comer. His looks work well in a few scenes, and it is appreciable that he delivered a settled performance without going overboard. Heroine Rayancha Kokkuru impresses with her screen presence, and her cute expressions register well in certain scenes.

Rajkumar Kasireddy and Sapthagiri carry the film on their shoulders with their trademark comedy. Their one-liners land effectively and generate good laughs throughout the movie. Vishika, who played Rajkumar Kasireddy’s wife, and Hasini Sudheer, who appeared as Sapthagiri’s wife, also manage to entertain in parts.

Though Vennela Kishore has a limited role, he brings plenty of laughs whenever he appears on screen. However, the way his character arc concludes feels slightly disappointing. The comedy involving Pammi Sai and VTV Ganesh is also designed well and works effectively. The roles played by Hariteja and Rajeev Kanakala are decent and passable.

Technical Aspects

Shravan Bharadwaj’s music is decent, while the background score works quite well. It can be said that he delivered his best in that department. Satheesh Mutyala impresses with his camera work, and the film looks visually grand throughout.

Producer Battula Koteswara Rao has mounted the film without compromising on quality. His passion is visible in every frame, as the movie looks rich and carries the feel of a big-budget production.

Director Veeru Vulavala chose a good storyline, especially the emotional point connected to the heart, and narrated it in a convincing manner. The dialogues are engaging and thought-provoking. He clearly portrays the current state of husband-wife relationships in society while also delivering a satisfying conclusion. He deserves appreciation for handling the subject effectively.

Final Word

Purushaha is a decent time-pass entertainer that can be enjoyed with the entire family. The message it conveys about husband-wife relationships is presented well.Purushaha is a good option to watch this weekend
